Turkey Time Warp: IT Martini Hour 7 Vids DEBUT

January 11, 2010

The month of November brought Thanksgiving turkey and IT Martini Hour 7: All the Fixin’s to the Cincinnati IT CommunityWatch a little bit of everything: from the panel discussion, to the featured DEMOs, to celebrity guest Bootsy Collins giving thanks.

The second, ever, IT Martini event in the Queen City started off with a panel discussion about ‘Building Better Software’, moderated by James McIntyre.  Panelists Doug Ross, Jeff Crawford, and Geoff Pearson traded ideas about everything from prototyping, to buy vs. build, to how they manage client expectations while lowering the overall software maintenance costs in their organizations.

Then, check out the three DEMOs that competed for the Cincinnati IT Community vote: Blackbook EMG, Technology Medical Partners, and Zakta.  Congratulations to Zakta for beating two class competitors, and taking home the IT Martini Community Choice Award!

One more thanks to you, Cincinnati, for helping to raise over $1000 for the Bootsy Collins foundation, which launched just in time for the holiday season.  And a huge THANKS to CincyTech and PSI Group for making IT Martini Hour 7 a success – two great organizations driving innovation in YOUR IT Community.
