The skies were cloudy with a chance of rain, but that didn’t stop hundreds of Columbus IT Pros from kicking off the Summer at Park Street Patio for IT Martini Hour 10: Agile of All Trades! IT rocked – thanks to The Path to Agility conference preceding the event, Version 100 playing immediately afterward, and YOUR IT Community raising over $2000 for The Buckeye Ranch.

First, COHAA took to the dance floor at Sugar by leading The Path To Agility Conference Retrospective discussion session. Next, Compellent brought moderatorRuss Taddiken to lead a Tech Talk about Agile, Not Fragile Infrastructure. Then Amazon Web Services Evangelist Steve Riley wrapped things up with a Tech Talk about the Business Value of Cloud Computing.

Out on the Patio, four DEMOs were competing for YOUR vote: DOmedia, an out of the house media directory, MobileXpeditions, a new platform for iPhone apps,Electronic Card Wall, the solution for syncing your visual and electronic card trail, and EventStart, an online event registration solution. It was an IT Martini first with electronic voting thanks to the SBB!

Congratulations to MobileXpedition for winning the Community Choice Award! In addition to taking home the coveted IT Martini Glass, MobileXpeditions took away $250 in cash from American Digital, $500 worth of services from Platform Labs, and a $2000 project retainer thanks to eSolutech.

The silent auction and raffle ticket sales brought over $2000 to the Buckeye Ranch – thanks to YOU! Some lucky guests took home an HP Netbook (thanks American Digital), a Kindle e-reader (thanks Agile Technologies), and an HP Touchsmart (thanks Pride Technologies).

And where would YOUR IT Community be without IT Martini Top Shelf Sponsors? We all owe a huge THANK YOU to COHAACompellent, and Pride Technologies for their support making the Columbus IT Community events, like IT Martini Hour 10, a success!

Of course, we owe a gigantic thanks to YOU – for continuing to make the ColumbusIT Community feel like home. We’ll never tire of throwing events for the community who’s been supporting IT Martini since 2008!
