Building IT: Habitat For Humanity

IT Martini is all about building IT Community - especially in Indianapolis this holiday season! But did you know that Habitat for Humanity has been building actual communities, one house at a time, for more than 30 years?
IT Martini is proud to partner with Habitat for Humanity of Hamilton County (HHHC), the designated charity for YOUR Indianapolis IT Community at IT Martini Hour 15: State of INnovation | Presented by American Digital on December 9th. As an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, HHHC seeks to eliminate substandard housing in Hamilton County - and has built 53 new homes for more than 175 family members throughout the county since 1990.
As recently as September of this year, HHHC completed the dedication of a brand new home for a local family. The many volunteers who helped with this effort performed tasks ranging from swinging a hammer, to working in the office, to participating on committees.
Since 2008, IT Martini has encouraged IT Pros to be involved with their broader community by volunteering time and donations. Great charities like the Buckeye Ranch, TECH CORPS Ohio, and The Bootsy Collins Foundation have all benefitted from YOUR IT Community - and the nearly $25,000 raised to date.
Make it a great holiday season for those in need, at IT Martini Hour 15: State of INnovation | Presented by American Digital on Thursday, December 9th at The Rathskeller downtown. THANK YOU to Exclusive Sponsor American Digital for underwriting this event, as well as Top Shelf Sponsors Smart IT and Kelley | Price Technology for their support.
